Progression of Microblade Brows

Microblade Brows -brows that are tattooed with fine individual strokes that look like hair - are a little more complex than the average soft fill solid permanent eyebrow.  While both are a fabulous solution to non-existent eyebrows, the solid fill brow can look a little superficial at first, but will eventually soften to look like you have meticulously put on great brow makeup, whereas microblade brows will look a lot like real hair at first, but will fade a bit faster than the solid fill brow.

Permanent Makeup and Microblade Brows!

Permanent Makeup!  Microblade Brows!  Have you heard of them or seen them on Facebook? Probably - because I have been literally BLASTING my work all over my Social media pages!  I am in LOVE with the art of Permanent Makeup and Eyebrow shaping!  Have you ever really noticed how big a difference great eyebrows can make for someone's face?  Nothing like a clean, perfectly shaped and pronounced brow to compliment someone's face! I just can't get enough of this!

Dress Remodel of the Day

I once had started with a vision to make a cute, and unique new style that was different from any other dress out there.  It was supposed to have a 50's flare with a modern and innovative style...  Well.... needless to say, It didn't work out so well, as you can see in this sad sad photo.  Yes, I went out on a limb and made a wedding dress from scratch, for no reason other than to design something new, but since I was so annoyed by the outcome of this monstrosity, it sat in a bag in a closet for literally 3 years.

It doesn't fit!  What happened??   You sent your measurements in when placing your order, wasn't it supposed to fit like a glove?

Well, here's the thing, when you place an order online, a variety of mishaps can happen with that.

Pretty Mama on the Go!

I was trying to think of great blogging subject matter for my new readers and one, more relevant topic I can think of, comes to mind pretty easily.

I am a mother of three - a tween girl and two lttle boys. I rarely have time to myself during the day, but I have to fit my makeup into my busy schedule somehow or I will simply not be myself! My makeup routine usually only takes me around 5 minutes. I do it fast! If I go all out with my eyes, it takes me ten to fifteen minutes. Actually, if you don't tell anyone, I usually do my makeup in the car! If you can believe it! haha! No, not necessarily in transit, only at the stop lights. Just kidding! No, really - I do actually put my kids in their carseats first though, so they are contained and this works for me because I ultimately get a minute to regroup without those little rugrats going anywhere or getting into anything. As long as I know their needs are totally met, I don't care if they are whining or whatever (they usually don't when we go for a car ride because I make sure they have just been fed, diapers are clean, and they are dressed appropriately for the weather - you know, all those things mommies are supposed to do). Anyway, I then apply and go. Sometimes I even put my hair in fat rollers before I leave my house then take them out when I get wherever I am going. I know, I sound and probably look like a freak show when I am driving, but I guess that's how I multitask and look good at the same time, so... take it or leave it, or go ahead -just laugh at me - my friends tell me I am funny. I guess I could see that. : )

At any rate, I thought I would share my absoloute favorite products to use and some tips on how to use them. Feel free to message me if you have questions!

Dreaming of Romantic Bridal Looks!

The first looks here, were just a few great bridal images I spotted while surfing the web in search of things to discuss on my new blog!  I guess this is a good starting point, so my readers can sort of identify my style and taste.  Below, I included some illustrations of some hair and makeup ideas that I came up with.

I constantly roll through images in my mind, like film.  I flip through look after look, drumming up different wedding themes and ideas of how to create an entire bridal look, according to different wedding themes.
